System Up Time

Monitors machine's running time. It's better to reboot the computer after computers have been used for a week or two weeks, to prevent unexpected problems.

Explorer Elapsed Time

Monitors the running time of Explorer process. Used to diagnose unexpected system crash

CPU Time % Total

Measures the total utilization of the processor by all running processes. Used to diagnose system problems, such as system frozen-up, spywares or application’s crash

CPU Time % Kernel

Measures the total utilization of the processor by system processes. Kernel % CPU Time should not over 50% unless it's doing some special jobs. Used to pin point system software problems

CPU Time % User

Measures the total utilization of the processor by user processes. Used to pin point bad user processes

CPU Time % Explorer

Measures the total utilization of the processor of Explorer to see if it is frozen or not

CPU Time % IE

Measures the total utilization of the processor of Internet Explorer to see if it is frozen or not

Processor Queue Length

Measures the processor queue length to see if system is overburden or not or CPU is too slow to handle jobs or not

Context Switch

Frequent IRQ will cause high Context Switch. Sometimes a sign for possible hardware failure

IRQ /sec

Frequent IRQ will cause high Interrupts/Sec. Sometimes a sign for possible  hardware failure

Memory Pages/Sec

Measures the performance of Memory. Insufficient RAM can cause high Pages/Sec

Memory MB Available

Measures the free Memory usage. If it is insufficient, it is a sign to upgrade Memory

Explorer Working Set

Measures the total Memory space Explorer (including all its Dlls) referenced. Used to foresee possible system problems

Memory Cache Bytes

Measures the working set for the system i.e. the number of allocated pages kernel threads can address without generating a page fault. Used to measure system performance.

HD Avg. Queue Length

Measure the hard drive’s Avg. Queue Length. System heavily access HD and HD response slow will cause high queue

HD Disk Time %

Measures Hard Drive in-use Time %.

HD Free Space % All

Measures all Hard Drive Free Space in percent (%). Alert will be generated when HD space is not enough.

Measures Internet Explorer Memory usage (Working Set)

Checks Page file usage to see if virtual memory is enough or not.

Measures Hard Disk IO Transfer speed in seconds, used to evaluate Hard Drive performance

Measures network download speed.

Measures network upload speed.

Measures the rate at which pages are read from disk. Used to evaluate system performance

Checks if DHCP client service is running or not. If it is not, attempts to restart it 3 times.
